Our development CNCs and 3D Printers help us produce the best prototypes for any scenario
3D printers and CNCs enable us to create prototypes at the highest fidelity. We have a variety of FDM, SLA, and development level CNCs for a variety of case scenarios. We are constantly growing our machine capabilities and if we do not have the perfect machine in-house, we know the best companies to out-source from.
The Stratasys F900 enables Medal Technologies to stand out above all. This machine has a a 36″ x 24″ x 36″ build volume and can print up to 14 different high end materials. This includes ASA and ABS-M30 for durable and aesthetic models as well as Nylon12-CF and Polycarbonate for high strength jigs and fixtures. We even have an Ultem9085 material for certified aerospace grade prints.
The BigRep One is technically our largest machine. It has an impressive build volume of 39″ x 39″ x 39″. It’s a perfect machine for rough mock-up prototypes made from PLA or ABS. We often have a lower fidelity print made on this machine before moving to a Stratasys level print.
The BigRep Studio is the baby brother to the BigRep One. It has a build volume half the size at about 39″ x 19″ x 19″. This machine provides a good quality print at low costs. We often make jigs and prototypes that have dimensions or faces that are not 100% critical.
We currently have two MakerGear M2s and these guys are our work horses. They have a build volume of 8″ x 10″ x 8″ and print a lot of our small parts for us. We can print in a lower end NylonX blend, PLA, ABS, and TPU (flexible filament).
Our AnyCubic Photon is our SLA type printer. It is a machine that enabled us to dip into the space in an affordable way. Its build volume is 4.53″ x 2.56″ x 6.49″. Although small, it can produce some great high detail prints for those specific jobs that need it.
